My Story

Ed Craft here. I started helping business owners way back in 2003.  See, I used to work in media sales, cough, cough…In media sales, to be good, you need to find business owners, convince them to spend $3k-$5K a month for 6-12 months, all the while, knowing you have no idea if it’s going to work. So you’re taught phrases like branding, consistency, impressions and so on. You use those terms to convey ‘you are the expert’ and by advertising with you, their sales will double, triple, whatever… For me, that’s LYING… Because although advertising will, does and can work, it’s not always the best decision for a small business owner.  Especially when I knew that regardless if they advertised with me, I couldn’t guarantee that I could get them 1 new customer, let alone enough to double their business.

Now, if you think business owners would rather get a root canal than talk to someone from media sales, you would be right.  However, if that is true, then I’m quite certain they would rather eat glass, binge watch a few seasons of Fear Factor and get that same root canal if it meant that they could avoid talking to a Merchant Services company. Did you cringe reading that…?

“Why would you want to get into the Merchant Services industry if no right minded business owner wants to talk with you?”, you ask…

Simple really…Unlike media sales, I’m not here to spend your money. I’m not asking for you to fork over your mortgage payment on a media campaign that ‘might’ work.  I’m here with an open check book willing to write you a check, directly to your business, and I’ll do it with a smile.  Oh, and by the way, I’ll be back next month to write you that same check, and the month after that, and so on, and so on…. Get the picture?  I started in this industry to help business owners keep more of the hard earned money they make.  Along the way, I get to meet some pretty cool people that are just trying to live the dream, just like me.
